In April, we celebrate fine arts. Enjoy musical performances, dance, visual arts, literature on the courthouse  lawn. There will be sidewalk chalk drawing available for the children to let their imagination grow and their creativity thrive.

Spring into Statesboro

fdphoto Spend your Saturday outside in beautiful downtown as we “Spring into Statesboro.” Participate in the FREE arts and crafts festival, shop for fresh produce at the Farmer’s Market, and enjoy a sidewalk sale on East Main Street. Join us on Saturday, April 22 from 9:00 a.m. till 1:o0 p.m.

The children’s festival will include arts and crafts, games, educational activities, a petting zoo and a Party Harbor bouncy house, food, live music, and tons of fun! Dr. Jim Bigley and Dr. Brent Wolfe’s Service Learning class at Georgia Southern University have come together to help make this event a huge success. Because of the services provided by the students, children are able to let their creativity bloom by creating their own art, learn how to make our world “green”, plant trees, and more!

We hope you and your family will “Spring into Statesboro” with us! For more information contact the Downtown Statesboro Development Authority at 912-764-7227 or at
